V. TD118-3 digital display soil liquid plastic limit joint tester

1. Place the power supply of the instrument on the horizontal workbench and adjust the horizontal screw foot to make the bubbles gather;

2. Plug the power plug of the instrument, turn on the power switch, and preheat it for 3 minutes. Before the measurement, gently lift the cone to the limit. The number on the display screen is random and will be eliminated automatically during the measurement.

3. Put the adjusted soil sample into the test cup. Scrape the surface and place it on the lifting seat of the instrument. Slowly adjust the lifting knob clockwise at this time. When the soil sample in the test cup just touches the cone tip, the contact indicator light will light up immediately. At this time, stop rotating, and then press the "measure" key.

4, measurement: press the "measurement" key, the cone falls, at this time the sound emits a toot...... When the measurement time is up, the call stops, at which point the display displays the value of the 5s depth of the soil. For the second measurement, the cone shall be dragged to the limit again, and the lifting knob shall be adjusted counterclockwise to change the contact position between the cone tip and the soil (the distance between the two cone tip positions shall not be less than 1cm). Then the cone tip shall be wiped clean, and the measurement shall be repeated.

5. When the instrument leaves the factory, 100g and 76g cones have been prepared. (One cone, two cone tips, one counterweight block) The counterweight block and the cone tip extension rod screwed together are 100g cone weight. If the user needs to use 76g cone, just unscrew the original cone, remove the counterweight block on the cone is 76g cone (the disc on the top of the cone tip is the counterweight block), and screw the cone tip on the cone can be used. The test cup, taper tip counterweight and other accessories matched with the instrument are put together in other small boxes. When taking out the test cup or cone tip, please pay attention to protect the cone tip to avoid damage.

 

Six, matters needing attention

1, maintenance equipment can not be charged welding, maintenance personnel should have certain electronic technology;

2, circuit adjustable elements can not be randomly mobilized, otherwise the accuracy and linearity can not be guaranteed;

3, the cone tip in use (screw on or screw off) should be especially careful not to damage the cone tip;

4. After each test, it is necessary to make a comprehensive cleaning of the instrument, do not let the broken soil and dust stay on the instrument, and do not directly connect the optical components by hand to prevent scratches.

5. After cleaning, put the instrument in the box and place it in a dry place without direct sunlight
